About Caroline Mulroney

Caroline Mulroney is the Member of Provincial Parliament for York–Simcoe and Ontario’s President of the Treasury Board. She has overseen major investments in transportation, housing, health care, and public-sector modernization, including the responsible use of AI in government. In her riding of York–Simcoe, Caroline has fought to ensure critical projects like the Bradford Bypass finally get built, while ensuring that the defining features of the region, like the North Gwillimbury Forest and Lake Simcoe, are protected for generations.

Caroline previously served as Minister of Transportation and Attorney General and continues to serve as Minister of Francophone Affairs. Her leadership helped establish l’Université de l’Ontario français and modernize the French Language Services Act, efforts which led to her naming as Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur, France’s highest honour. A graduate of Harvard and NYU Law, she is a co-founder of The Shoebox Project. Minister Mulroney and her husband, Andrew Lapham, have four children and a dog, Peanut.
